The TOEIC Service List (TSL)
1250 words· 98.5% coverage of most recent TOEIC tests · designed for 2nd language learners studying for the TOEIC test
On this page we will put various resources related to the new TOEIC Service List (Browne, C. & Culligan, B., 2016), also known as the TSL. Based on a 1.5 million word corpus of various TOEIC preparation materials, the 1250 words of the TSL 1.2 version gives 98.5% coverage of the most recent version of the TOEIC tests when combined with the 2809 words of the NGSL.
How do you cite or refer to the TSL?
Though the proper style sheet will vary from academic field to academic field, most people working in the areas of applied linguistics and TESOL use APA format. Borrowing from their rules for citing websites, we recommend the following:
